Fisherman’s Friends Movie

Just a quick update to say the Fisherman’s friends movie is now out! Its being screened nationwide so if its it near you, go and check it out. We went to see it and thought it was brilliant! Great to see all the local characters, that we know so well on the big screen. We often share a few beers and have a sing along with the bouys in the golden lion. The movie also mentions the tale of Port Quin and the song that the boys sing about it.

Happy New Year 2019!

We are looking forward to another busy year on the farm for 2019.

We hope to see lots of new and returning guests to enjoy our little bit of North Cornwall. We will be lambing the sheep this year in Febuary, so if you fancy a half term break with the children there will be lots to see and do on the farm, along with the usual beach walks and exploring.

We are also putting some new play (toddler – 10yrs freindly) equipment up at the cottages to keep the little ones entertained.

For the Doc Martin enthusiast theres a new series being filmed in Port Isaac this year, so you can go and see it in the making if you fancy it! Or if you just want some peice and quiet, you can wander down to port Quin and watch the tide sweep in and out of the beautiful bay.

We will be running our kayak and SUP sessions from Port Quin again from Easter, so let us know if you want to come out on the water this season.

All the best for 2019

Sam and family.

Spring Time on the Farm

The Daffs are out and the Lambs are jumping on the farm! Spring is a great time to explore Cornwalls coast and the amazing flowers along the cliff tops. Its been a slow start to spring this year but twith the forecast improving, now is the time to book up a stay for some adventures in North Cornwall. The walking and beaches are great at this time of year, its also much easier to get a table in one of the amazing local fish restaraunts in Port Isaac and Padstow.

Give us a call or email about short break prices and availability. See you soon!
